The Turkey Burn Adventure Race will be 12 hours, exploring the incredible wilderness of Florida that is teeming with wildlife, will entertain everyone. Visitors have the opportunity to encounter various species during their visit. The area has abundant bird life, including herons, egrets, ospreys, and more. Teams will explore the park's trails and immerse themselves in the beauty of the surrounding forests and wetlands. Running and navigating the remote trails will top off the amazing event outside Orlando, Florida. Course Designer Jarrod Shoemaker brings his talents to find the most unique spots for teams to visit, and they will be challenging to find.

Lake Louisa State Park provides the perfect backdrop for an adventure race, with scenic trails, rolling hills, and dense forests that challenge racers on foot, bike, and kayak. Paddle across pristine lakes, trek through oak hammocks, and navigate rugged terrain while spotting local wildlife along the way. Every section of the park offers a mix of natural beauty and physical challenge, making it an unforgettable setting for adventure and teamwork.

Waivers: To speed up the check-in process on race day, please download and fill in the Warrior Liability Waiver for each team member and bring it to the race with you to check in.
Rules: Rules List is required for review and a copy will be carried during all races.
Gear: Mandatory Gear is required for review before the event.
Withdrawals & Cancellation: Warrior Refund, Changes, and Cancellation Policy. Refunds may take up to 90 days to process from date of request.

Is there free camping included?
Yes—tent, car, or van camping is allowed.
Is there a place to park my RV?
Yes, a campground next to the start is available.
Can I sleep in my car or RV at the start/finish?
RVs are not permitted, but sleeping in a car is allowed.
Are there lodging or camping options nearby?
Yes, Clermont hotels and a campground within the park are available.
What are the expected distances or percentages for each discipline?
Approximately 20% trekking, 20% paddling, and 60% biking.
Are bike rentals available, and if so, where?
Yes, rentals are available at WG Wheelworks.
Where can I find teammates?
You can connect with other racers on the Adventure Race Teammate Finder page on Facebook. It’s a great place to post if you’re looking to join a team or find additional members for this event.
What kind of bike do I need? Are gravel bikes allowed?
A mountain bike is required for this race. Your bike may have front or full suspension, but it must feature flat handlebars (no drop bars) and wider tires suitable for rugged terrain. Gravel bikes are not permitted.

What We Provide
We supply all canoes, paddles, and PFDs. Teams may bring their own paddling gear if it is packed in paddle bags.
The race includes a t-shirt, food and drinks during the race, awards for each division, and dinner at the 12-hour finish.

1st through 3rd place in the following divisions: 3-4 Person Coed, 2-Person Coed, Open Male (Any) Open Female, Solo Male, Solo Female, Masters Solo Male (50+), Masters Solo Female (50+), Masters Team (All team members must be 50+), Single Award for Youngest Racer.
