24-Hour and 12-Hour Adventure Races
Kopperl, TX
The Chisholm Trail is one of the most iconic cattle-driving routes in U.S. history. Racing along it means you're not just running, biking, or paddling—you’re moving through a living piece of American frontier history. That adds a deeper dimension to the challenge. Big Texas skies and sweeping views that make every checkpoint feel epic. It’s a landscape built for adventure, not monotony. Texas Pride Racing has designed a course for both the elite team looking to get the most out of a long course and perfect for the new teams wanting to get out to enjoy a first time adventure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where Do I Park?
Please park along the road or in designated campsite driveways (excluding sites 2, 9, 7, and 10). All vehicles must have two wheels on the pavement, meaning you should park parallel to the road with the driver-side wheels on the pavement. This policy will be enforced.
Is there free camping included?
Free camping at designated camp sites is available March 26–29 on a first-come, first-served basis. The sites have 50-amp hookups for RVs. Sites 2, 9, 7, and 10 are taken by park and race staff. Restrooms are on site. Tent camping is allowed anywhere in the campground outside of a designated site as long as parking rules are followed.
Do you know of any lodging or camping options in the area?
Indian Lodge Resort is a nearby option for lodging and camping.
What are the expected distances or percentages for each discipline?
Approximately 25% trekking, 25% paddling, and 50% biking.
Are bike rentals available, and if so, where?
The closest bike rental shop is Bike Mart in Fort Worth.
Where can I find teammates?
You can connect with other racers on the Adventure Race Teammate Finder page on Facebook. It’s a great place to post if you’re looking to join a team or find additional members for this event.
What kind of bike do I need? Are gravel bikes allowed?
A mountain bike is required for this race. Your bike may have front or full suspension, but it must feature flat handlebars (no drop bars) and wider tires suitable for rugged terrain. Gravel bikes are not permitted.
