DETAILS

This 10-hour adventure race is perfect for sport or family teams looking to explore the outdoors and enjoy the thrill of adventure racing. Experienced teams will find the course challenging as they work to reach all checkpoints within the time limit. Navigation is straightforward, with well-marked trails and easy-to-read maps that guide you to hidden spots throughout Oak Mountain. Distances and time spent on each discipline depend on your team’s abilities and pace, but you can expect approximately 25–35 miles of mountain biking, 8–12 miles of trekking, and 3–5 miles of canoeing.

The race follows a 100% rogaine format, allowing teams to choose which discipline to start with and how long to spend on each. While the full race is 10 hours, teams can opt to spend only 2 hours per discipline for a shorter, 6-hour adventure. Winners are determined by the most checkpoints found in the shortest time.

All teammates must be present for check-in to receive instructions and maps. Arriving late reduces your preparation time, so plan to arrive early. All maps are pre-plotted and waterproof, and your first discipline will be revealed during check-in.

Dinner will be provided by Oak Mountain Creekside BBQ, giving teams a chance to relax and celebrate after the race.
