The 14th Annual Cauldron Adventure Race returns with 18-hour and 8-hour options, guiding racers through some of Central Florida’s most striking natural landscapes. Paddle along winding, crystal-clear waterways alive with wildlife—from herons and egrets to ospreys, turtles, alligators, and even manatees. Navigate scenic trails and immerse yourself in the beauty of Florida’s forests and wetlands.
Voted the scariest adventure race in the world by SleepMonsters Media and AR Live Coverage, the race concludes at night amid the sights and sounds of the wild. Divisions include solo, 2-, 3-, or 4-person teams, coed or open. This race kicks off the Florida AR Series.

This adventure race is ideal for sport or family teams looking to explore the outdoors while enjoying the thrill of adventure racing. Simple, easy-to-follow navigation will guide you to hidden gems throughout the Silver River area. All teammates must be present for check-in to receive instructions—arriving late reduces your preparation time. Your first discipline will be revealed during check-in, so be ready to dive into the adventure from the moment the race begins.

Waivers: To speed up the check-in process on race day, please download and fill in the Warrior Liability Waiver for each team member and bring it to the race with you to check in.
Rules: Rules List is required for review and a copy will be carried during all races.
Gear: Mandatory Gear is required for review before the event.
Withdrawals & Cancellation: Warrior Refund, Changes, and Cancellation Policy. Refunds may take up to 90 days to process from date of request.

What are the expected distances or percentages for each discipline? Approximately 20% trekking, 20% paddling, and 60% biking.
Where can I find teammates? You can connect with other racers on the Adventure Race Teammate Finder page on Facebook. It’s a great place to post if you’re looking to join a team or find additional members for this event. What kind of bike do I need? Are gravel bikes allowed? A mountain bike is required for this race. Your bike may have front or full suspension, but it must feature flat handlebars (no drop bars) and wider tires suitable for rugged terrain. Gravel bikes are not permitted.

What We Provide
We supply all canoes, paddles, and PFDs. Teams may bring their own paddling gear if it is packed in paddle bags.
The race includes a t-shirt, food and drinks during the race, awards for each division, and dinner at the finish.

1st through 3rd place in the following divisions: 3-4 Person Coed, 2-Person Coed, Open Male (Any) Open Female, Solo Male, Solo Female, Masters Solo Male (50+), Masters Solo Female (50+), Masters Team (All team members must be 50+), Single Award for Youngest Racer.
