Crew and Pacer Information

Selecting a crew is one of the most important tasks to consider. Here are some tips. We will be providing detailed crew instructions for the best and safest results.

Race Tips

Be prepared for the weather to change. Carry a small can of mace for possible dog encounters. Make sure you have good headlamps and a flashing red light on the back of your vest. Crew vehicles should never follow behind runners on any roads. Having a GPS tracking device (not provided) during the race with a link for crew and family to follow is a must.

Updates

Once you are registered for the race you will receive updates or changes via the email you provide. Also, video updates and other information are posted on the ARGeorgia Facebook Page.

Rules

Each solo runner must complete all 200 miles on their own without any other form of transportation in a single attempt. To be official, each runner must be signed up through UltraSignup. Follow the official GPX course with no cutting of the designed course. No relays or passing off the GPS tracker to another runner. Pacers are allowed at Aid Station #3.

No littering. Take in, take out. Trekking poles are allowed. The race director has the sole discretion of the administration of any violations of the race rules ranging from a time penalty up to and including disqualification.

Cancellations and Transfers

We understand that things happen. No refunds will be issued; however, you may transfer your entry to another racer in the same event without a penalty until 7 days before the event. You are responsible for finding a person interested in buying your entry as well as working out payment with them. Entries do not transfer to other events nor do they transfer year to year. If you would like to sell your entry to another racer, please contact info@warriorraces.com with the name and email of the person to whom you wish transfer your entry.
